Shawn R. Meader, MD, is a 1996-graduate of Saint Louis University School of Medicine from St. Louis, Missouri. His postgraduate training includes his internship in general surgery at St. Louis University Hospital (1996 – 1997). Following his tour of active duty, he conducted his diagnostic radiology residency performed at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL (2000 – 2003), serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He became fellowship-trained in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine (2003 – 2004), where he remained as Assistant Professor of Radiology for three years prior to relocating to Tampa, Florida in 2007. He completed his undergraduate education in Biology and Microbiology at Colorado State University. Dr. Meader attained board certification in diagnostic radiology and vascular and interventional radiology with the American Board of Radiology.
